Take it with you
Connections
Let an AI app on this computer read your approved Passport while you chat, through a small local program (an MCP server) that only reads.
For desktop and terminal apps on this computer
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and the ChatGPT desktop app, Gemini CLI and VS Code can start a local connection. ChatGPT and Claude in a web browser, the Gemini app and phone apps only accept remote connections, which Mitigate AI doesn’t offer yet — use Export for those.
Your connections
What you allowed each app to read. The app sees a snapshot: export the file again to update it.
Connect an app
Choose the app and what it may read. You can revoke it at any time.
Suggestions from connected apps
An app can suggest a memory (if you turned that on). Suggestions never change your Passport by themselves.
Choose the suggestions file you set up for a connection (a .jsonl file). Each line is checked; nothing changes your memories until you accept it, and accepted ones still wait for your approval in Review.
How the connection protects you
- It runs on your computer, opens no network port and sends nothing over the internet itself.
- It serves only approved memories in the categories you chose. Passwords, keys and ID numbers are never served.
- The categories, sensitivity and end date come from the configuration you paste, not from the app. An app’s name is never trusted as proof of who it is.
- Memory text is handed to the AI as information about you, with a notice that it isn’t instructions.
